 Associate Director of SEO
Location: Remote

Salary: $130,000-$150,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for SEO across the company, leading and enhancing the performance of the SEO channel.
  • Lead and monitor the performance of external SEO agency, ensuring alignment with company goals and timely execution. Implement strategic adjustments based on performance.
  • Partner with internal teams including Product, Technology, Merchandising, and content to develop SEO plans.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of SEO campaigns across multiple domains, coordinating with content marketing, development, and PR teams.
  • Direct the SEO agency in tracking and analyzing site ranking factors, keywords, internal and external links, and site content.
  • Utilize data visualization tools to create dashboards, standardize reporting, and provide real-time insights for data-driven decision-making.
  • Work with the Paid Media/SEM team to align organic and paid strategies.
  • Manage all link development processes and campaigns, including overseeing external agency partners to enhance rankings and drive traffic and revenue.
  • Guide the SEO agency in scoping and writing development requirements for new website features and participate in sprint planning meetings.
  • Conduct research on competitor activities and industry trends to gain a competitive edge and innovate new SEO strategies.
  • Collaborate with business and paid media teams to identify opportunities for growth in branded and non-branded search.
  • Report on key C-level KPIs such as share of search and aggregate lead growth; plan and project monthly/quarterly targets.
  • Apply a test & learn approach to drive ongoing performance improvements.
  • Audit and monitor website performance to ensure a seamless cross-device experience.

 

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of SEO experience, either in-house or agency
  • eCommerce experience required
  • Software Experience: Enterprise reporting tools: Domo, SEO tools: Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Bright Edge, Botify, Web analytic tools: GA4.
  • Understanding of eCommerce processes
  • Proven experience successfully managing and implementing SEO initiatives for enterprise websites.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and rich media technologies.
  • Experience leading external agencies
  • Deep understanding of search engine ranking criteria
