Privacy Policy

WunderLand Group is committed to safeguarding the privacy of the Users of its website. This Privacy Policy sets forth WunderLand’s policies regarding the collection and treatment of personally identifiable information.

“Site” refers to this internet website (www.wunderlandgroup.com) and other WunderLand Web sites linked to this Site. The site acts as a venue for delivery of WunderLand applications (listed here by way of example only) for 1) individuals currently working with WunderLand (i.e., “active Users”) to interact with WunderLand’s database and enter timecards, create and manage their WunderLand profiles, view assignment information, and process other information; 2) WunderLand to process orders, send email alerts, perform customer service; qualify candidates for possible employment; 3) WunderLand’s clients to sign timecards, review invoices.

What personally identifiable information is collected on the Site?

In the course of its registration process, WunderLand collects certain personally identifiable information. Personally identifiable information is information that can be traced back to a single user. Names, physical addresses and email addresses are examples of personally identifiable information.

Certain additional information is also collected in an aggregate form and used solely in connection with improving the performance and responsiveness of our services and website. This information may include a User’s originating domain, time of visit, connection speed, domain names and internet service provider. This information is not personally identifiable information and there is no attempt to correlate such information to an individual User.

How is the information collected and maintained?

Any personally identifiable information collected by WunderLand is provided directly by Users in the course of the registration process or in connection with updating such information. Such information is password protected. Active Users can contact WunderLand to update the content and accuracy of their personally identifiable information; however, WunderLand may retain in backup or inactive files the uncorrected or outdated form of data that is corrected or updated. Such data may be retained for several reasons, including backups for disaster recovery planning, dispute resolution purposes, troubleshooting, and enforcement of agreements. WunderLand reserves the right to correct personally identifiable data to make it current and consistent with data directly input by Users, for example, when the User updates his/her address on his/her resume but not elsewhere.

This Site and all information collected through this Site is collected, stored, and processed in the United States. If Users are located outside of the United States, User information will be transferred to the United States and to countries in such other regions where the User indicated he/she would like to be considered for an assignment.

To unsubscribe from our communications

You may unsubscribe from our marketing communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of our e-mails, updating your communication preferences, or by sending us an email at marketing@wunderlandgroup.com. Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not prevent you from receiving transactional emails related to your account.

Will WunderLand use personally identifiable information to contact Users?

From time to time, WunderLand will send Site and service announcement updates to Users by e-mail. Active Users may unsubscribe from marketing and promotional e-mails, but they may not unsubscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the Site and service. In addition, WunderLand may request individuals to complete questionnaires or surveys regarding their use of the Site to be used by WunderLand solely to gather information to assist it in improving WunderLand’s services or the navigation features and functionality of the Site. Participation in such surveys is voluntary.

Is the information shared and/or transferred?

Personally identifiable information will not be transferred or sold to third parties. Third parties are defined here as entities not related to WunderLand or its website. For purposes of this Privacy Policy, WunderLand’s clients are considered Users, and entities with which WunderLand partners for special projects or initiatives are provided with the minimum amount of information needed for the purpose of accomplishing their tasks. For example, email addresses may be provided to mail processing firms as part of programs intended to promote WunderLand. Information regarding the professional background of individual registrants or online applicants may be shared with clients who may consider utilizing such individuals. Notwithstanding the foregoing, WunderLand will divulge personally identifiable information to law enforcement agencies or other governmental agencies when required to do so or when WunderLand in good faith believes it is necessary in order to comply with legal obligations. In addition, in the event that WunderLand or substantially all of its assets are acquired or merged into another entity, personally identifiable information may be transferred to the successor in interest.

Does the Site use cookies?

Cookies are required by WunderLand to verify an individual User’s access to specific areas of the Site. When a User logs in, a cookie is written to the User’s browser containing information that identifies that particular session. This information is sent to our Site during the course of the User’s navigation of the Site. Cookies, or information contained in a cookie, are not shared with any other website or third party.

Does the Site use log files?

When Users visit the Site, they automatically disclose certain information to our server, such as Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. WunderLand uses IP addresses to analyze trends in Site usage, administer the Site, track a User’s movement through the Site, and gather broad demographic information for use on an aggregate basis. IP addresses and other similar information collected through log files are not associated with individual Users, nor does WunderLand make any effort to identify Users from their IP addresses.

What type of security is employed by the Site?

WunderLand takes reasonable measures to protect the information collected through the Site. Some information gathered on the Site is encrypted and protected with secure sockets layer (SSL) encryption. Where WunderLand deems the encryption unnecessary, Users are so informed. Only the individual User and WunderLand personnel (solely on a need-to-know basis) have access to such information. All information collected from Users by WunderLand is stored on servers hosted in a physically secure environment. Questions about the security of the Site should be directed to marketing@wunderlandgroup.com. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Users should keep in mind that this Site and the WunderLand services are run on software, hardware and networks, any component of which may, from time to time, require maintenance or experience problems or breaches of security. Users are required to keep their WunderLand passwords confidential. WunderLand is not responsible for misuse of passwords. Please advise WunderLand immediately if you believe your password has been compromised.

Is the Site connected to other websites by links?

WunderLand may provide links to the websites of a limited number of third parties. In addition, clients and providers may also provide links to their websites. WunderLand is not responsible for the content, reliability, security or privacy practices of these websites. This Privacy Policy applies solely to this Site.

How are Users notified of changes in the Policy?

From time to time, WunderLand may update this Privacy Policy by posting a revised Policy on this Web page with date of most recent update visible. WunderLand also will post a Policy update notice on the Site’s home page. Changes to the Policy will take effect upon posting. Users who are unwilling to accept such changes may “opt out” by terminating their registration with the Site.

1. About this Privacy Notice

WunderLand Group LLC (“WunderLand Group”) has issued this California Consumer Privacy Notice (“CCPA Notice”) pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”), as amended. This CCPA Notice, effective January 1, 2024, applies to Personal Information (described below) of residents of the State of California in their capacity as consumers, including job applicants (“California Consumers”) and supplements the terms of WunderLand Group’s privacy policy (click here to view Privacy Policy).

WunderLand Group collects the categories of personal information (“Personal Information”) indicated in the table below.  In most cases, we collect Personal Information directly from you, but we also may collect Personal Information from data collection technologies including the Internet and other electronic network activity and certain third parties.

WunderLand Group collects, discloses and uses your Personal Information as part of its business operations, including when you apply for a job as an employee or independent contractor.  The purposes for which we collect Personal Information are described below and generally include human resources and employment purposes.
